Position Title – Industrial Pipefitter Summary - installs, assembles, fabricates, maintains and repairs mechanical piping systems. Industrial pipefitters analyze blueprints to determine the kind of pipes required and the most efficient method of installation.

Responsibilities
- Lay out, cut and fabricate any system of pipes, valves, traps, regulators and ect. from blueprints or verbal instructions.
- Maintain and repair all types of valves, regulators, traps and ect.
- Maintain and repair high pressure hydraulic systems, boilers, associated piping and accessories, steam jacketed pressure ves¬sels, sewage plant, clarifier, linseed and hydraulic oil separator.
- Make decisions concerning the feasibility of salvaging or scrapping equipment or parts removed for repair or replacement.
- Assist other crafts.
- Typical craftsmen tools i.e. hammers, wrenches, screw drivers,
- punches, chisels, level and ect.)
- Transportation vehicles
- Overhead crane
- Oil cans and grease guns
- May be required to work at heights and/or in confined spaces.
- May work alone with minimal supervision or with other maintenance crafts
- Work in various areas of the plant, which dependent on the area, environmental conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy.
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Skills assessment and;
- Ability to work shift work and rotating schedules; including daily and weekend overtime and call-outs for repairs and break down situations to limit downtime, preventative maintenance tasks, and root cause analysis
- 4 years of Manufacturing and/or heavy industrial experience working in the skilled trade
