Amsted Automotive, Shelby Twp, is seeking a Flowforming Specialist.
Shift Times
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (15% shift premium)
- Midnight Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (15% shift premium)
- Adapt and promote lean manufacturing principals
- Active participant in Elimination of Waste Team Meetings
- Support the Company’s Goals and Objectives
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tag out and electrical safe work practices
- Required to follow all maintenance systems and proper documentation procedures as outlined in the work instructions, including preventative maintenance procedures, downtime recording procedure, work order procedures
- Responsible for PM tasks, corrective actions, and improvements to assigned equipment. PM’s (preventative) PD (Predictive)
- Knowledge of all operations and repairs
- Advance troubleshooting of flowform operations
- Troubleshooting dimensional issue
- Knowledge to repair and modify CNC Programs to maintain dimensional requirements
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset to CNC Machining Process
- Able to read and understand blueprints
- Able to read and understand inspection reports
- Understanding of machine functions
- Understanding of process flow
- Understanding of part programming
- Basic knowledge on programming new parts
- Process of elimination
- Reports directly to the Tooling Supervisor
- Other duties as required by the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor
- May receive direction from other Supervisors, Managers, and Team Leads as necessary
- Experience in fast paced, automotive manufacturing environment
- Including CNC program modifications and tooling improvements
- Usage of a computer, printer, calculator, and machinery control panels
- Must be able to interpret C.M.M. or gaging information and adjust CNC Programs and mechanical attributes within a FlowForm
- Excellent communication skills are needed of interaction with the workforce
- Work may require extended periods of sitting, standing, lifting, bending, stooping and performing repetitive motion tasks
- Usage of a computer and other productivity machinery control panels
- Excellent manual dexterity, ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
