Job Overview:
The HR Specialist position is responsible for aligning business objectives with associates and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and associates that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HR Specialist maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, and its culture
Core Accountabilities:
- Act as first point of contact for day to day HR inquiries; consult with HRBP’s as needed to solve
- Implement HR, talent, and high performance culture strategy and plans in partnership with HRBPs.
- Provide day to day advice to leaders and employees on routine HR policy, program, processes legislation, and employee relations matters.
- Investigate and document employee relations issues and partnering with leadership team.
- Responsible for overseeing talent acquisition for the building.
- Manage onboarding and termination issues, including new hire orientations, employee termination paperwork, and exit interviews.
- Provide support to team members and leadership on HR-related topics, such as leaves of absences and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Promote PCHI programs to create an engaging work environment.
- Maintain employee files and records.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
