Advanced Management Strategies Group (AMSG) is seeking a Program Office Doctrine and Policy Writer to support a prospective effort with the Global Positioning Network (GPN) Program Office (PO). This is a Contingent Hire position.

Position Summary
Develop, edit, and integrate GPN doctrine, concepts, policies, and operational products for the Governance Section, converting logistics concepts and operational lessons into clear Service-level publications.
Key Responsibilities
Write, edit, and update concepts of operations, logistics doctrine, and tactics, techniques, and procedures related to the GPN.
Draft and analyze Marine Corps Orders, NAVMC publications, policy papers, studies, reports, and related products.
Staff policy products through formal Department of the Navy and Marine Corps coordination processes.
Collect, organize, and synthesize information from exercises, real-world movements, subject-matter experts, and lessons learned.
Ensure products are logically sound, technically accurate, traceable, and formatted to military writing standards.
Work independently and collaborate with operational, policy, governance, and senior-leader stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated technical-writing and editing experience supporting military doctrine, policy, concepts, plans, or operational analysis.
Ability to independently research, organize, analyze, draft, and revise complex technical material.
Knowledge of military logistics, Joint operations, Global Prepositioning, force posture, or related mission areas.
Strong command of MS Word and formal staffing/review processes.
Active Secret clearance and eligibility for a DoD CAC.
Preferred Qualifications
Marine Corps or Navy headquarters staff experience.
Experience developing CONOPS, TTPs, MCOs, NAVMCs, or Joint/Service doctrine.
Work Conditions
Work may be performed on-site at the Pentagon or Quantico, Virginia, or at a contractor facility, as designated by the Government.
Government business hours are generally 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday; the workday must support Government business hours.
Some positions may require CONUS and OCONUS travel.
