What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic position at AmServ EMS?
AmServ EMS is seeking Paramedics to service 911 calls and interfacility transfers for the Bibb county area. As the primary provider for Bibb county AmServ is looking for competent well motivated paramedics that are eager to help the community and provide the highest level of patient care.
Daily responsibilities are as follows:
- Promptly respond to 911 calls and interfacility transfers within AmServ's coverage area while providing the highest level of care.
- Maintain personal knowledge, certifications, and skills in order to perform the job at the best of ones abilities.
- Provide accurate documentation of services rendered in order to reduce liability and improve patient care.
- Daily check of units and maintenance of units inventory in accordance to AmServ EMS and ADPH.
- Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with co workers, hospital staff, and the general public.
Education. All applicants should have:
- A valid State of Alabama Paramedic License.
- A valid State of Alabama drivers license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current in ACLS, PALS, ans BLS.
- Current EVOC
Skills:
- Applicants should be able to function in high stress situations.
- Applicants should be able to "think outside of the box"
- Applicants should be able to perform the physical requirements of EMS personnel
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
