What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator/Material Handler (day & swing shift) position at Amsco Windows?
Amsco Windows is looking for a forklift operator/material handler for the day shift and swing shift. This job entails loading/unloading materials from trucks, in-house material handling, transporting finished goods and supplies throughout the shop, assisting in overhead crane use as needed, dumping garbage hoppers, using an RF scanner to scan materials into certain building locations, keeping dock areas clean, and other duties as needed.
Shift:
Monday - Friday: 5:45am - 2:15pm (overtime as needed)
Monday–Thursday: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM. (overtime on Fridays as needed)
What You Must Be Able To Do:
- Safely operate a forklift in an indoor manufacturing environment with pedestrian traffic
- Lift up to 75 pounds
- Show up on time, every day
- Work overtime when needed
- Work well with a team and take direction
- Be a self-starter and work independently
