The Supply Chain Specialist position will assist the Supply Chain Supervisor with purchasing a wide variety of materials necessary for ACIM. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with maintaining inventory on material. Candidate must be willing to advance in areas of logistics and become APEX certified.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * High School diploma or equivalent and two years of previous customer service experience required. * One to two years' experience in a manufacturing industry. SUMMARY OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare and complete job orders for Production Scheduler/Planner Manager to schedule manufacturing workflow; * Prepare shipments and billing paperwork upon completion of order; * Utilize established software program to verify or create customer account, maintain documentation of past orders, quotes, and pricing with high degree of accuracy; * Processes invoices and receipts for commissions and accounts payable/receivable accurately and in a timely manner; * Audit, revise and process changes accordingly; * Confer with customers via telephone or in person to provide information about products or services; * Take and enter orders, cancel accounts and obtain details of complaints; * Ensure that appropriate changes are made to resolve customers' problems; * Maintain records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken; * Resolve customers' service or billing complaints; * Complete contract documentation, prepare change of address records, or issue service discontinuance orders; * Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS * Requires sitting for extended periods of time while performing repetitive task. * Eye and ear protection are required in the manufacturing areas of the facility.
