What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper & Data Analyst position at AMSA, Inc.?
AMSA Inc. is not a typical corporate environment; we are an entrepreneurial, science-driven organization that values maturity and self-motivation over micromanagement. We develop high-quality chemical technology for a global market, and we understand that our scientific expertise must be matched by financial precision. At AMSA, your "can-do" spirit and eye for detail are not just appreciated—they are essential to our mission. You will work alongside a team of mature professionals who respect your need for focus and rely on your ability to provide accurate, transparent financial insights.
Are you a meticulous professional who finds genuine satisfaction in the precision of a perfectly balanced ledger? You are the type of person who spots a single-digit discrepancy from a mile away and won't rest until it's corrected.
You thrive in a focused, quiet environment where you can dive deep into data for long periods, yet you possess the "normative autonomy" to know when to follow a process to the letter and when to take the initiative to solve a problem.
You are organized, methodical, and exhibit a quiet confidence when communicating important financial information to clients or vendors. If this describes you, our open position of bookkeeper is a role you should consider. As a bookkeeper at AMSA, Inc., your natural strengths will allow you to excel at the following:
Precision & Follow -Through: Your natural instinct for accuracy ensures that critical tasks like AP/AR, payroll entries, and trial balance reconciliations are executed with flawless integrity.
Methodical Work Style: Your ability to maintain focus for long periods is perfect for managing our chemical inventory and tracking raw materials across our production cycles.
Analytical Mindset: You will use your strength in data and analytics to pull key reports from QuickBooks, providing the management team with the clear, actionable insights they need for decision-making.
Disciplined Initiative: You have the proactive drive to figure things out and solve problems independently, while possessing the discipline to follow our established financial processes and confidentiality protocols to the letter.
Professional Communication: Your quiet confidence allows you to effectively convey financial information during occasional calls with clients or vendors, ensuring our professional reputation is always upheld.
