JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description: A mid‑sized law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys with document review, discovery management, and case preparation. The ideal candidate has experience handling high‑volume records, organizing productions, and supporting attorneys throughout the discovery lifecycle.

Position Overview: The Litigation Paralegal will assist with document intake, review, organization, and production, as well as general litigation support. This role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment when handling sensitive materials, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming records requests and coordinate collection of responsive documents.
• Review, organize, and prepare documents for production, including redactions and privilege review under attorney supervision.
• Conduct first‑ and second‑level document review for responsiveness, relevance, and confidentiality.
• Apply coding and tagging protocols in document review platforms.
• Prepare privilege logs, redaction logs, and organize productions in accordance with discovery requirements.
• Assist with subpoenas, requests for production, and related discovery tasks.
• Maintain tracking systems, deadlines, and production logs.
• Provide general litigation support, including file organization, research, and communication with internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Meets paralegal requirements under applicable state law.
• Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate required.
• At least three years of experience supporting litigation matters, including document review and production.
• Familiarity with privilege concepts and responsiveness determinations.
• Proficiency with document review platforms (e.g., Relativity or similar tools).
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive materials with discretion and sound judgment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting attorneys in complex civil matters or working with public‑facing records.
• Prior experience preparing privilege or redaction logs.
