Key Responsibilities:
The Piping Estimator will be responsible for creating estimates for commercial and industrial mechanical projects. This includes:
- Analyzing drawings and specifications.
- Ensuring high attention to detail.
- Understanding contractual terms and conditions.
- Issuing RFIs.
- Performing quantity take-offs.
- Assembling estimates.
- Organizing sub-contractor quotations.
- Maintaining relationships with sub-contractors and clients.
- Preparing bid packages.
- Assembling costing information.
- Formulating cost breakdowns.
- Attending pre-bid walk-thrus.
- Working with other estimators.
