Role Description
AMS Fulfillment is seeking a Solutions Analyst to support the development of pricing strategies for new and existing clients across direct-to-consumer (DTC) and B2B fulfillment services. This role is responsible for building and maintaining complex pricing models in Excel, analyzing operational cost drivers, and partnering with Sales and Operations to develop competitive and profitable proposals. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, logistics, or supply chain analysis and brings strong analytical and Excel modeling skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop detailed pricing models for new client opportunities including warehousing, pick/pack, shipping, storage, and value-added services.
• Build and maintain advanced Excel models incorporating operational assumptions, labor inputs, shipping costs, and margin targets.
• Analyze order profiles, SKU complexity, storage requirements, and handling workflows to determine appropriate rate structures.
• Support pricing for both DTC eCommerce fulfillment and B2B retail distribution programs.
• Partner with Business Development to support RFPs, RFQs, and new business proposals.
• Translate operational requirements into clear, structured pricing proposals for prospective clients.
• Evaluate deal profitability and conduct margin analysis to support negotiations.
• Analyze operational cost drivers such as labor requirements, order volume, SKU count, storage needs, and value-added services.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and warehouse leadership to validate pricing assumptions and operational feasibility.
• Maintain and improve standardized pricing templates and analytical tools used across the organization.
Qualifications
• 2 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, logistics, or supply chain roles.
• Strong experience building advanced Excel pricing or financial models.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate operational workflows into pricing structures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience in 3PL, fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain environments preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field preferred. Equivalent analytical or logistics experience will also be considered.
