Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial concepts and experience with accounting software, making them a key contributor to our financial operations. requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Prepare journal entries related to accounts payable activities.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions in accordance with AMS accounting policies.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
• Utilize accounting software for efficient processing of invoices and payments.
• Assist in the preparation of tax-related documents as needed.
• Support employee expense reimbursement by ensuring accurate data entry related to employee expenses.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounts payable processes and workflows.
  
  

Qualifications

Requirements

• Must have Advanced Excel skills with the ability to produce, use spreadsheets efficiently, and perform calculations and automation to process large volumes of data. Please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective vendor interactions.
• Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
• Superb time management skills and detail orientation.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred.
• 3 – 4 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Must have strong mathematical skills.
• Proficient in accounting software(s).
