Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to support our Gas operations. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and adjusting project schedules to ensure efficient coordination of crews, equipment, and materials across multiple job sites. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively communicate with field teams, project managers, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage daily, weekly, and long-term construction schedules
- Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, and subcontractors to align timelines
- Track project progress and adjust schedules as needed to address delays or changes
- Ensure proper allocation of crews, equipment, and materials
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and reports
- Communicate schedule updates and changes to all relevant stakeholders
- Assist with permit timelines, inspections, and compliance deadlines
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts and propose solutions proactively
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of underground utility construction processes is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and fleet coordination
- Experience working with municipalities and permitting agencies
- Understanding of safety regulations and construction workflows
- Previous experience in construction scheduling, dispatching, or project coordination (utility or civil construction preferred)
