What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer position at Amron Corporation?
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Design, integrate, or improve manufacturing systems or
related processes. May work with commercial or industrial designers to
refine product designs to increase producibility and decrease costs.
Assist manufacturing in solving equipment problems to minimize
production down time. Update and maintain manufacturing processes.
Advise management of new methods, techniques, processes, equipment,
tooling to improve operations. Analyze operational requirements, designs
and dimension specifications. Update internal records, reports, drawings
and designs throughout the system and document control. Perform
engineering assignments relative to the development and design of tools,
dies, fixtures, gauges, and special machine tooling. Prepare new
machine, equipment and/or tooling justifications. Coordinate continuous
improvement projects to include development, implementation, repair and
replacement projects. Candidate must be able to work interactively out
of the shop floor. Apply continuous improvement methods such as lean
manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or
cost-effectiveness. Design testing methods and test finished products or
process capabilities to establish standards or validate process
requirements. Design, install, or troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
Evaluate current or proposed manufacturing processes or practices for
environmental sustainability, considering factors such as green house
gas emissions, air pollution, water pollution, energy use, or waste
creation. Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve
products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes,
tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control
standards, or product design, materials and parts. Incorporate new
methods and processes to improve existing operations. Prepare
documentation for new manufacturing processes or engineering procedures.
Prepare reports summarizing information or trends related to
manufacturing performance. Purchase equipment, materials, or parts.
Review product designs for manufacturability or completeness. Train
production personnel in new or existing methods. Troubleshoot new or
existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes.

required, due to the nature of the work performed. 4 year BS Engineering
Degree or equivalent, 3-5 years work experience, Project Management
