What You'll Accomplish
- Observe and enforce all Amrize Safety Standards, Advisories, and Policies.
- Be a responsible advocate for on-the-job safety and the environment.
- Carries out sampling and testing to ensure that material produced and shipped meet specifications and expectations.
- Assist with the implementation and documentation of the product realization plan and related procedures and requirements for quality control.
- Perform some service, repair, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Carries out regular updates to appropriate Quality Control and Quality Assurance test databases and spreadsheets and perform analyses as needed.
- Able to learn the basic operations of cement.
- Provide “troubleshooting” guidance and advice for quality control actions.
- Recommend and assist with plant changes to ensure conformance and consistency.
- Work under general / minimal supervision; customarily works 40% of the time without direct supervision.

Work Experience
- Two years of post-secondary technical education or equivalent in experience
- Mine Safety and Health Administration Certificate (MSHA) Or the ability to obtain in 6 months through Holcim training
- Knowledge of computers and database systems
- Availability and willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
