About The Role
Amrize Building Envelope is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of a comprehensive product portfolio for commercial building performance solutions, is currently looking for a highly skilled Production Floor Operator ISO to work out of our Jacksonville, FL facility. This position is responsible for the replenishment of raw materials and the transport of material to appropriate storage locations.
What You'll Accomplish
- To operate forklifts in a safe manner observing all company policies.
- Demonstrate the ability to identify material classifications including prime, rework and scrap.
- Communicate with and fill in for packagers.
- To complete production paperwork as applicable (verify daily production).
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Unload raw materials from trucks in Production area.
- Follow storage bay location procedure.
- Build pallets according to standard for product.
- Know proper procedures for packaging of materials.
- Follow FIFO system when retrieving raw materials.
- Follow quality requirements of not shipping damaged product to customers.
- Participate in cycle counts.
- Knowledge of environmental policies and work instructions related to job
- Perform waste disposal per work instructions
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work overtime, sometimes on short notice
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to use a computer
- Must have experience using regular forklifts, roofing forks and carpet pole lifts
