About The Role
The packager is responsible for assisting in the operation of the production lines by setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting the packaging area. Starting Wage: $24.50 $1.00 Shift Differential Schedule: 2 pm to 12:30 am Monday - Thursday
What You Will Accomplish
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

What You Will Accomplish
- Must be able to pack products in one of three major classifications: Foam, Coatings Mills or Coatings Reactors
- Must be able to label products before and after packaging as needed
- Able to setup packaging area for one of three major classifications
- Must be able to fill containers to specified weight and expected quality standards
- Proper labeling of wash, left over bulk or non-conforming material
- Proper package preparation of material by using nitrogen to flush away contaminants in head space
- Prepares container closures by following proper procedures for crimping lids, torqueing bungs and tote caps, and utilizing seals and zip ties
- Proper maintenance and cleaning of all equipment, pumps, tank scraping as required
- High School Diploma
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to pass respirator fit test and medical evaluation
- Must be clean shaven to meet work requirements
