Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in South Haven, MI for a Commercial Roofing Estimator & Project Manager. The role includes reviewing project plans and specifications, performing site visits, and preparing accurate material and labor estimates for commercial roofing and building envelope projects. The estimator & project manager will coordinate project schedules, manage subcontractors and field crews, oversee installation quality, and ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes. Daily responsibilities also include communicating with clients, vendors, and internal teams, tracking project progress and costs, resolving jobsite issues, and preparing project documentation and reports. The role requires close collaboration with operations and leadership to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to client expectations.

Qualifications
- Strong practical knowledge of roofs, including commercial roofing systems, roof components, and typical installation methods.
- Experience with carpentry and insulation related to building envelope construction and detailing.
- Ability to work at height safely, following fall protection and safety procedures on roofs and elevated surfaces.
- Understanding of waterproofing principles, materials, and techniques used to protect structures from water intrusion.
- Prior experience in estimating construction or roofing projects, including reading blueprints and preparing takeoffs.
- Project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, resource coordination, and documentation control.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Proficiency with basic computer tools (email, spreadsheets, estimating software) and willingness to learn new systems.
- Commitment to safety, quality standards, and adherence to local building codes and industry best practices.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites in the region as required.
- Previous commercial roofing or construction experience is highly beneficial; relevant certifications are a plus.
