About the Role
A growing SAT prep center in Frisco, TX is expanding and hiring a results-driven SAT tutor (Math and/or EBRW).
You will design and deliver structured diagnostics, individualized study plans, and measurable progress tracking, teaching both in-person and online, including groups of 8–15 students.
We are looking for a tutor who is analytical, data-driven, and focused on measurable student success, not just instruction.
Responsibilities
- Teach SAT Math and/or EBRW to students (8–15 per group)
- Conduct onboarding diagnostics: test analysis 60-minute interview (goals, background, constraints, timeline)
- Prepare clear diagnostic summaries: strengths, red flags, priorities, next steps
- Build individualized study plans aligned with target score and timeline
- Track student progress with metrics: accuracy %, error patterns, pacing (WPM preferred)
- Maintain engagement, structure, and classroom management
- Communicate progress and risks clearly to students and parents
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of SAT content and scoring logic
- Confident in-person and online instruction
- Experience teaching groups
- Clear communication and coaching mindset (motivation, confidence, resilience)
- Preferred: official SAT score 1500 overall OR Math 770 / EBRW 740
- If no recent SAT score: provide strong student outcomes diagnostic task demo lesson
