Duties
- Deliver hot and cold dishes from the kitchen to tables efficiently, maintaining food quality and presentation standards
- Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables for new guests
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to safety and sanitation standards to promote guest health and safety
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to relay special requests or modifications
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing under chef supervision
- Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including clearing trays and organizing utensils and condiments
- Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their needs are met promptly
Skills
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and servers
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy
- Experience with banquet service, catering, or hotel food operations is a plus
