General Construction Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Construction Worker to join our team. This position involves assisting with various construction projects, and ensuring the timely and safe completion of building tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the physical ability to perform demanding tasks on-site. Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and tools
• Carry out basic construction duties such as framing, trim/finish work, siding, roofing, and more.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by removing debris and securing materials
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work site at all times
• Assist with site setup and cleanup at the beginning and end of each workday
• Support the installation of fixtures, windows, doors, and other building components as needed

Skills

• Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding manual labor tasks
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Good communication skills to understand directions from supervisors
• Attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented mindset
