Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Instrumentation Technician located in Hibbing, MN. The Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting instrumentation and process control systems. Daily tasks will include preventive maintenance, identifying and resolving operational issues, and ensuring instrumentation systems are functioning at optimal performance. The role also requires assisting in maintaining compliance with safety and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Process Control and Instrumentation systems
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Calibration of electrical and instrumentation devices
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance procedures and techniques
- Good understanding of safety standards, industry regulations, and best practices related to the field
- High attention to detail and ability to work in an industrial or hazardous environment
- Relevant technical certifications or an associate degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Prior experience in mining, processing, petrochemical, or water treatment industries is an advantage
