Job Summary
The Warehouse Logistics Manager directs all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, manufacturing supply, order fulfillment, and domestic/international shipping. This role ensures strict compliance with solar handling safety standards and optimizes supply chain workflows to meet production and customer installation timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Distribution Management
Coordinate inbound shipments of raw materials (silicon wafers, glass, frames) and finished solar goods.
Manage domestic and international freight forwarders, customs clearance, and ocean/overland carriers.
Optimize final-mile delivery schedules to utility-scale project sites, distributors, and commercial customers.
Oversee specialized transport requirements for fragile, oversized solar panel pallets.
Inventory & Warehouse Operations
Maintain inventory accuracy
Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) protocols to manage product degradation and engineering design changes.
Enforce strict serial number tracking for warranty validation and manufacturer batch traceability.
Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits.
Team Leadership & Safety
Lead, train, and schedule a team of warehouse supervisors, forklift operators, and shipping clerks.
Enforce OSHA regulations and specific safety protocols for handling heavy, breakable solar modules.
Maintain clean, organized zoning for hazardous materials
Job Requirements
Experience & Education
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 5 years in warehouse management, preferably within renewable energy, electronics, or heavy manufacturing.
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of solar industry standards, including specialized pallet stacking limits and fragile freight handling.
Strong understanding of global logistics, tariffs, and customs documentation (e.g., Incoterms).
Excellent leadership skills to manage high-turnover shift environments.
Data-driven mindset to track KPIs like on-time delivery (OTD), order accuracy, and freight cost per watt.
Fluent in English and Mandarin.
