What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at AMPS Law?
AMPS Law, P.C. is seeking a motivated law school graduate or early-career attorney looking to gain hands-on litigation experience to join our busy landlord-tenant practice team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop advocacy skills, build client relationships, and work alongside experienced attorneys who value collaboration and work-life balance.
What you will do:
- Represent clients in trials, hearings, and mediations throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (via Zoom & in-person)
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
- Manage discovery and case preparation
- Advise clients on legal and business transactions
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes efficiently
Qualifications
- MA Bar admission required (NH & RI a plus) along with a car
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal advocacy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- A practical, creative approach to advancing client interests
- Professionalism and ability to build client rapport
