Welder Craftsman Class

Position: Craftsman Welder

Shift: Tuesday - Friday 6am - 4pm

Starting Pay: $26-28/hr

EnSight Solutions is currently seeking Craftsman with experience in Stainless Steel. This position will require someone with skills in TIG weld, polish, fabricate, assemble, and the ability to inspect stainless steel food grade products to meet customer requirements and expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• High quality TIG welding with minimal defects.
• Proficient in blueprint reading.
• Helps keep drawings updated and accurate.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Provides input to design and process changes.
• Cross trained in two product lines.
• Participate in continuous improvement events.
• May be asked to perform other duties as needed.
• Advanced deburring, grinding, and polishing.
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
• Execute job orders per shop floor paperwork including blueprints.
• Help establish quality and time standards.
• Understand and follow all company safety procedures.
• Maintain the tools used to create products.
• Operate a forklift.
• Establishes a clean, well-organized, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required.
• Tech School; or relevant experience
• 5-years Stainless Steel experience is preferred

Specialized Knowledge and Experience

• Basic understanding of equipment that you're building, the functionality of it, and how it operates.
• Basic understanding of electricity and pneumatics of specific machines when required.
• Ability to read tape measure and digital calipers.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency using hand and power tools in a safe manner.
• Must understand the proper use of PPE for each job and show consistency with it.

Other Skills and Abilities

• Must be able to interact professionally, appropriately, and courteously with management, co-workers, customers, and other outside parties.
• Mentor A and B level team members.

Travel

Up to 15% travel, as needed.

Salary : $26 - $28
