What You'll Do
- Build and repair wooden pallets, skids, and shipping crates.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with material handling, loading, unloading, and staging products.
- Support production, fabrication, shipping, and receiving departments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform general shop duties and housekeeping tasks.
- Provide backup support for sandblasting operations when required.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory organization and material movement throughout the facility.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Willingness to learn and assist in multiple areas of the shop.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Manufacturing, warehouse, construction, carpentry, or shop experience is a plus.
- Sandblasting experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and manual material handling.
- Ability to work safely around machinery and production equipment.
- Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe boots.
