Shop Helper

Job purpose

Ensight Solutions is currently seeking a Shop Utility team member to join us!

Our shop utility is responsible for providing support for the operations in the shop. This will include a wide range of diverse activities, so flexibility is key.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Pick up parts at various suppliers in local area

· Build wooden crates and skids, palletizing equipment for shipment

· Assist with shop clean up

· Propane refills (certification will be provided)

· Grinding, when needed

· Load equipment for shipment, when needed

· Unload raw material and freight loads, when needed

· Assist shipping with packaging resale

· May be asked to perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Education

· High school diploma or GED

Specialized Knowledge and Experience

· 2 years of manufacturing and experience preferred

· Forklift experience preferred

· Demonstrate ability to accurately read a tape measure

· Use various hand tools

Skills and Abilities

PC Skills

· Some level of computer literacy is preferred

Other Skills

· Requires the verbal skills to probe and ask questions to ensure understanding of requirements and participate in teams.

· Must be able to interact professionally, appropriately, and courteously with customers, co-workers and other outside parties.

Travel Requirements

This position requires some local travel for errands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
