What You'll Do
- Operate brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts
- Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and production instructions
- Load and unload materials while ensuring proper alignment and positioning
- Inspect finished parts to verify quality and specifications
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product quality
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
- Record production information accurately
- Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Manufacturing or brake press experience is a plus
- Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
- Ability to learn blueprint reading and technical drawings (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic math and measurement skills preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently use hands and arms to handle materials and equipment
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
