Job Responsibilities:
Translate demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory strategies into executable production plans.
- Provide guidance on production capacity, lead times, and volumes across both in-house and contract manufacturing operations to support Sales and Operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and communicate the weekly production schedule
- Leverage MRP/ERP systems and scheduling tools to align supply with demand and proactively identify purchasing requirements
- Issue purchase orders for raw materials and finished goods, ensuring timely supplier execution
- Define and manage shipment schedules to meet customer delivery commitments
- Assess supplier network constraints and maintain a supplier capability database to match demand types with sourcing options
- Partner with manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams to resolve bottlenecks, delays, or quality-related issues
- Identify potential material or capacity shortages and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruption
Key Competencies
- Has solid knowledge of ERP, MRP, and scheduling systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Identifies issues and leads the team in problem solving
- Respectful and relatable to team members with a positive outlook
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in scheduling and inventory management
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, a lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, respirator and safety shoes
- Move items up to 25 lbs
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- On-site in Fremont, CA
- Comprehensive compensation package includes base salary generous RSUs. Salary range for this role is $95,000-$145,000. Base salary will be determined based on knowledge, experience, and education.
