Operator – Plastic Injection Molding (2nd Shift)

Amplitude HR is now hiring Operators for a growing plastic injection molding manufacturer in Port Huron, MI.

• Location: Port Huron, MI
• Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday)
• Hours: 4:00 PM 12:00 AM
• Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour
• Full-Time
• Weekly Pay

Operators are responsible for monitoring plastic injection molding machines, inspecting finished products, packaging parts, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position plays an important role in ensuring quality products are produced efficiently.

• Monitor plastic injection molding machines
• Perform visual quality inspections
• Inspect finished parts for defects
• Package and label products according to work instructions
• Complete final quality audits
• Monitor work cells and auxiliary equipment
• Enter scrap information and production data into the system
• Maintain a clean, organized work area (6S)
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math and reading skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and positive work ethic

• Stand and walk for the entire shift
• Frequently bend, reach, push, and pull
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Lift 10-25 pounds frequently
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

• Plastic injection molding manufacturing facility
• Safety glasses required
• Exposure to manufacturing equipment, dust, fumes, and noise
• Clean and team-oriented workplace
