General Labor/Maintenance

Location: Detroit, MI

Are you a hard-working individual with a strong work ethic and experience in general labor or facility maintenance? We're hiring General Labor Workers to join our team in Detroit! This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that requires flexibility, reliability, and a commitment to quality work.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Clean national criminal background check Required due to government contract work (no misdemeanors or felonies)
• Fully flexible schedule Assigned to a primary shift, but must be available to cover additional shifts as needed
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of general labor or facilities maintenance experience
• Excellent communication and public interaction skills
• Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift 50 lbs, and move up to 100 lbs
• Comfortable working in tight spaces and at various heights

• Perform concrete and asphalt paving repairs and inspections
• Drywall, plaster repair, and painting
• Furniture assembly and relocation
• Replace or install lighting fixtures, plumbing, and carpentry elements
• Complete minor electrical repairs
• Conduct facilities safety inspections
• Maintain grounds and security infrastructure (fencing, gate arms, etc.)
• Operate tools and equipment for landscaping, snow plowing, towing, and general repairs
• Use heavy/light-duty towing equipment, forklifts, front-end loaders, and other machinery
