Amplify is growing quickly, and we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and can take ownership of meaningful work across our technology stack. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role where you’ll help us design, build, and evolve the next generation of our wealth management applications.
We don’t expect you to be an expert in everything, but we’re looking for strong engineering fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions end-to-end.
What You’ll Work On
- Build, enhance, and maintain applications within the Amplify platform, including trading systems, proposal tools, digital forms, and client-facing features.
- Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and data integrations.
- Contribute to front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Support production environments and participate in a rotating morning system check prior to market open.
- Collaborate within an agile team and partner closely with engineering leadership to influence design, architecture, and best practices.
- Uphold Amplify’s core values and contribute to a positive, ownership-driven engineering culture.
What You Bring
- 5 years of experience building software in C#/.NET or another object-oriented language.
- Comfort working across the stack — databases, APIs, back-end services, and front-end components.
- Strong skills in SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience with one or more modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.).
- Solid understanding of software design principles, testing, and version control.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and strong communication skills.
- Proven track record of taking projects from concept to production.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience building APIs or services in .NET Core.
- Exposure to Azure or another cloud platform.
- Knowledge of scalable database technologies or cloud storage.
- Background in financial services or wealth management technology.

Education
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
