The Role: Partnerships Director, United States
Based in New York City, this is Amplify's first dedicated US partnerships hire. You'll be building the commercial foundation of our American operation, opening doors, building relationships, and winning the kind of clients that define what Amplify becomes in this market.

You'll report directly to the founders and work closely with our global commercial leadership across APAC. The US market benefits from everything we've already built, the relationships, the infrastructure, the creative track record, and a platform that most US agencies are still trying to catch up to.
What You'll Do
- Build and own Amplify's US partnerships strategy, identifying, targeting, and closing high-value brand and agency relationships that generate net-new revenue and long-term strategic value
- Own senior relationships with CMOs, VP Marketing, and brand managers at global and US-based brands across FMCG, technology, entertainment, and lifestyle categories
- Build and develop platform partnerships, particularly with TikTok, Meta, and YouTube, leveraging Amplify's existing global platform relationships to unlock preferential access and co-investment models in the US market
- Develop a US pipeline from the ground up, using Amplify's global client roster, existing brand relationships, and your own network to generate, qualify, and close commercial opportunities
- Represent Amplify at industry events, platform summits, and brand forums, building the kind of presence and reputation in New York that opens doors before you knock on them
- Collaborate with our APAC commercial teams to translate global client relationships into US mandates and revenue
- Feed market intelligence back to the product and strategy teams on what US brands need, what platforms are prioritising, and where the opportunities are before they become obvious
What You Bring
Skills:
- Deep fluency in the creator economy, how creator content works, what brands are trying to solve, and where the industry is heading
- Proven ability to hunt, pitch, and close new business personally, not just manage a team's pipeline or handle inbound
- Strong platform knowledge across TikTok, Meta, and YouTube, including how brand and agency partnership models work on each
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to hold a room at CMO level
- Commercial negotiation skills, with experience structuring and closing partnership agreements
- Strategic thinking with the ability to build a market from scratch without a playbook handed to you
Experience:
- 7 years minimum in partnerships, business development, or sales within the creator economy, influencer marketing, social media, or a related field
- Active, senior relationships with brand marketers, agency decision-makers, and platform partners that you can activate immediately
- Direct experience winning significant new business accounts personally, not through inherited relationships or inbound leads
- Platform relationships, particularly with TikTok US, Meta, and YouTube brand and agency partnership teams
- Experience operating in an entrepreneurial or early-stage environment where you've had to build structure and process yourself
- Prior experience in a New York-based role with an established network in the city's brand and agency community

Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
