Help athletes become better players—and more confident people.

At Amplify, we believe great coaching develops more than volleyball skills. It builds confidence, decision-making, communication, resilience, and habits that benefit athletes long after they leave the court.

Our North Star is simple: Children and families will be better off because Amplify exists.

We're building a premium youth athlete-development center in Largo, Florida, combining high-quality volleyball instruction with athletic performance training and a structured coaching methodology.

We're looking for passionate Volleyball Coaches who want to develop athletes, improve their own coaching skills, and help build something exceptional from the beginning.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and support small-group volleyball training pods using Amplify's athlete-development methodology.
  • Teach volleyball fundamentals, advanced skills, court awareness, and game decision-making.
  • Create engaging, competitive training environments that challenge athletes appropriately.
  • Help athletes build confidence, resilience, communication, and accountability.
  • Participate in athlete assessments and document meaningful progress observations.
  • Provide constructive feedback to athletes and communicate professionally with families.
  • Mentor Assistant Coaches when assigned.
  • Participate in paid training, coaching development, and technical evaluations.
  • Deliver private lessons, semi-private training, clinics, or camps when separately authorized.

Who We're Looking For

  • Volleyball playing, coaching, or instructional experience; two or more years of meaningful coaching experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of volleyball fundamentals and age-appropriate skill development.
  • Ability to connect with young athletes and explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Positive, professional coaching approach focused on long-term development rather than winning alone.
  • Dependability, strong communication skills, and willingness to receive feedback.
  • Availability during weekday afternoons/evenings, with possible weekend opportunities.
  • Commitment to youth safety, professional boundaries, and Amplify's values.

Experienced club and school coaches, former competitive players, and emerging coaching professionals are encouraged to apply. Placement and independent coaching responsibilities depend on demonstrated competency.

What Amplify Offers

  • Competitive pay: $24–28/hour for standard coaching assignments, based on qualifications and approved responsibilities.
  • Additional earning opportunities: Premium hourly compensation for authorized private lessons, semi-private training, clinics, and camps.
  • Potential performance bonuses: Future incentive opportunities subject to an approved program.
  • Paid required training: Structured onboarding, coaching education, and technical development.
  • Professional mentorship: Work alongside experienced technical coaching leadership.
  • Career growth: A defined competency-based pathway toward advanced coaching and leadership responsibilities.
  • A development-focused environment: Small-group training designed to prioritize athlete learning, meaningful repetitions, and decision-making.

Additional assignments, hours, premium compensation, and bonuses are not guaranteed.

Athlete Safety & Professional Standards

All selected candidates must satisfy applicable background screening, safeguarding, and training requirements before athlete-facing assignments. Requirements may include fingerprint-based screening, SafeSport or equivalent training, CPR/First Aid/AED, and concussion education, as determined by Amplify's compliance standards.

Amplify supports and funds required onboarding credentials and training. Required employee training and evaluations are compensated in accordance with applicable law.
