Housekeeping Staff
Overview:
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Operations Manager, the Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across all clinic areas, including offices, exam rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and outdoor trash areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize furniture, surfaces, door handles, light switches, and bathrooms
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors daily
Empty and replace trash bags inside and outside the building
Clean spills and bodily fluids as needed
Plunge toilets and perform minor cleaning-related tasks
Clean windows and spot-clean carpets
Restock soap, paper towels, and other supplies
Track and order cleaning supplies as needed
Complete daily cleaning checklists
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe use of cleaning chemicals
Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Professional, dependable, and mission-driven
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, squat, stand, twist, and reach overhead
Must be able to climb a ladder
Clear vision and hearing for communication and safety
Must be able to drive to various clinic locations as needed
