๐ฐHourly Pay: $22.90 - Commensurate (dependent on experience, education, and qualifications)

This role is part of our Cappstone Energy Group team, which focuses on delivering specialized field services that support the safe and reliable operation of utility infrastructure. The Field Technician II is responsible for performing a variety of field-based inspection and data collection tasks to support electric distribution operations. This role focuses on pole inspection projects, joint-use audits, light inspections, and meter inspections. The Field Technician II ensures all field data is collected accurately, safely, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Your Role: Field Technician II
We are seeking a dependable Field Technician II to join Ampirical. The Field Technician II is responsible for performing a variety of field-based inspection and data collection tasks to support electric distribution operations. The Field Technician II ensures all field data is collected accurately, safely, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
What Youโll Do
- Conduct detailed field inspections of distribution poles, attachments, and associated equipment.
- Perform joint-use audits, verifying communication company attachments for accuracy and compliance with NESC standards.
- Complete light inspections and meter inspections, documenting conditions and identifying maintenance needs.
- Record field data using approved company systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards, clearance violations, or damaged equipment.
- Coordinate with Field Distribution Specialists and other departments to support design and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all work adheres to company safety policies and applicable regulations.
- Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers, contractors, and external stakeholders
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience in electric utility field work, inspection, or related industry.
- Working knowledge of NESC standards and electric distribution equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret maps, drawings, and utility records.
- Proficiency with field data collection tools, mobile apps, or GPS-based systems.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Valid driverโs license and ability to work in outdoor environments.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-directed.
- Strong problem-solving and observational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Salary : $23
