Duties
- Take and deliver drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring swift service and customer satisfaction
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism, maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling procedures
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, including processing payments efficiently and accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glasses, and adhering to food safety standards
- Assist with catering, banquet, or nightclub events by serving guests promptly and managing multiple tables or stations simultaneously
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while ensuring quality service at all times
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly within a licensed environment is desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and managing tabs accurately
- Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector will help you excel in this energetic role
