Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Product Management team. The position will be located in Nashua, NH.
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Business Analyst for our High-Speed Backplane team supporting our product management team and customers, and working cross functionally with sales, engineering, production, finance/accounting, customer service, and other functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gather and analyze data to understand business requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Propose and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and address business challenges.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate communication, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
- Develop detailed documentation of business processes, requirements, and solutions to support decision-making and implementation.
- Utilize data analysis tools to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights for strategic planning.
- Support RFQs, RFPs. Aid in development of pricing strategy that achieves target profit margins at all stages of the product life cycle.
- Support and drive capex and cost down efforts.
- Data analysis of product sales including tracking of revenue/margin by product/part number/region/customer
- Assist in development of marketing materials including product datasheets, press releases, and other online or printed marketing collateral
- Minimal job-related travel may be required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematically oriented field– engineering, business, economics. Master’s degree preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data and identify patterns or trends that can inform business decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Proficient in diagnosing problems and developing viable solutions to improve business processes.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with stakeholders located globally.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to lead and navigate dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office products such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
