Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally.RESPONSIBILITIES: As Signal Integrity Engineering Manager for our High-Speed IO Connectors & OverPass Business Unit, you'll lead a dynamic team designing copper-based I/O cable assemblies for high-bandwidth applicationssupporting data rates up to 448 Gbps/lane. This role blends technical depth with team leadership and customer engagement across next-gen cloud, data center, 5G, and enterprise markets.Guide a team of signal integrity engineers developing advanced IO Connectors & OverPass systems.Communicating and working with customers and internal product managers to understand product requirements/performance specifications and convert those into new product designs, production tooling, manufacturing processes, qualification testing, and the transfer to volume production sites.Translate customer requirements into innovative product designs and lead them through development, qualification, and transition to production. Ensuring the accurate and timely completion of engineering tasksCollaborate with internal teams and global customers to define product performance and ensure engineering excellence. Coordinating with peers and other engineering managers within the organization to share best practicesDrive technology and product roadmaps, presenting vision and solutions to key stakeholders.Mentor and coach engineering team members, fostering technical growth and clear communication.Share best practices across teams and champion continuous improvement in design methodology and workflow.Solve high-speed design challenges, including signal integrity, simulation, test methodologies, and production ramp-up support.Supporting Sales and Applications Engineers to develop strategies for product break-in at existing and new accounts based on signal integrity and electrical engineering expertiseSupporting global factories for ramping up production; advising methods and experiments of builds, measurements, and establishing test limitsQUALIFICATIONS: BS in Electrical Engineering, M.S. preferredExperience in Engineering Management, proven experience managing high-speed signal integrity engineering teams.Experience with engineering simulation and analysis tools, such as Ansys HFSS and Designer, CST MicrowaveExperience with engineering measurements and debugging, such as TDR, VNA, pattern generators, error detectorsExperience in component design and application of high-speed cables/connectors into communications equipment is a plusStrong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams toward common goals.SKILLS:Strong facilitation and team-building skills; the ability to integrate the needs & skills of many functional disciplines to achieve a positive outcomeAttention to detail while maintaining perspective on top-level goalsAbility to prioritize work to meet objectives and to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to articulate, outline, and follow a development processA systems-level mindset with attention to both detail and overarching product goals.Exceptional multitasking and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced development environment.Confidence in presenting to both internal teams and external customers.Drive to mentor, inspire, and grow a high-performing engineering culture.Amphenol Corporation is proud of our reputation as an excellent employer.
