Position: Production Assembler
Location: Amphenol Ardent Concepts - Hampton, NH
Amphenol Ardent Concepts is a leading designer and manufacturer of high performance multicoax and coaxial assemblies, connectors, and sockets used in the development of next generation semiconductors and electronics systems. Our core technology is the smallest, fastest, and most electrically efficient compression mount connector technology worldwide. As data rate requirements increase and devices and systems shrink, Ardent Concept’s products deliver superior signal integrity in a dense footprint that can be reusable across programs to maximize cost savings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Micro assembly product lines while working through microscope
- Prepare and assemble materials, build product subassemblies or final assemblies, plate product.
- Test and inspect products or subassemblies for functionality and quality.
- Set up and operate production fixtures and tools in accordance with good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to engineering prints.
- Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Clean production equipment, products, and work areas.
- Measure and record data associated with products.
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Position Type
This is a full-time, first shift position, M-F working 8:30-5:00 p.m., with overtime as required. This job operates in a lab/manufacturing setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Computers and machines are used and the employee must be coordinated and have the ability to lift and or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision. Must have depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Physical agility
- High level of hand/eye coordination with ability to work extended periods on a microscope
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Familiarity with engineering drawings is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills- Candidates that have experience with arts and crafts, small model building, jewelry making, or small intricate mechanical devices would have the skills applicable to work with these micro assembly products.
