What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator - Plating I - 1st Shift position at Amphenol Printed Circuits?
This position is responsible for operate department specific wet process equipment: - Plating, automatic plate lines, deposition, strip, etch, reflow and ASF.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follow all short sheets, standard operating procedures and Amphenol’s company safety regulations.
- Assist in department specific preventative maintenance schedules.
- Time execution of multiple tasks and instructions to meet production deadlines.
- Involvement with continuous improvement activities as needed.
- Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
- This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends.
- May be required to cross train in other departments.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be a motivated self-starter, be independent, work with limited supervision.
- Ability to read and follow all short sheets/customer documents.
- Participate in Chemical Awareness and Chemical Handling certifications.
- Required to pass respirator physical?
- Ability to work standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely.
- Basic computer experience a plus - Microsoft Office-Outlook/Word/Excel.
- 2 Years PCB experience with Prior Plating experience preferred.
