Job Summary
The Global Sourcing & Logistics Manager is responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies, optimizing supply chain performance, and ensuring the efficient international movement of goods. This role involves supplier selection, cost optimization, contract negotiation, logistics operations, and compliance with global trade regulations. The position requires strong analytical, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills to deliver cost savings and supply continuity across global markets.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in global sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
Strong negotiation and supplier-relationship management skills.
Knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, customs compliance, and freight logistics.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.

Position Requirements
Global Sourcing
Develop and implement global sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and cost-savings targets.
Identify, research, and assist with qualifying suppliers worldwide; conduct supplier capability assessments.
Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and analyze competitive bids to drive optimal cost, quality, and service.
Negotiate global contracts—including pricing, terms, and service levels—ensuring favorable outcomes.
Monitor supplier performance, manage KPIs, and lead supplier business reviews to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Ensure sourcing activities meet ethical, sustainability, and legal standards.
Prepare monthly report on Purchase Price Variance report for upper management to track if the RFQ has any effects on material cost savings.
Work with the TFC purchasing managers around the world to improve our global presence in the materials market and to coordinate material cost savings.
Assists in finding and evaluating peripheral materials such as materials related to packaging or production.
Works with Production Planner to plan, initiate and maintain production schedules to meet customer service forecasts and forecasted output.
Logistics & Supply Chain Management
Oversee global logistics operations, including inbound transportation, customs clearance, and distribution. (Aligned with typical global sourcing/logistics combined roles; supported by supply-chain compliance duties.)
Partner with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PLs to ensure efficient and cost-effective shipment execution.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and documentation requirements.
Monitor global market trends, freight conditions, trade policy changes, and geopolitical risks that affect supply continuity.
Works with Shipping Supervisor to ensure that scheduled ship dates are met.
Works with VMI and Storefront Supervisor to foster continuous improvements in inventory levels and planning.
Assures raw materials are purchased to proper stock levels and finished stock inventories are maintained at budgeted levels.
Works with VMI Administrator to ensure proper inventory levels for VMI customers and timely releases to prevent customer stock outs.
Strategy, Risk & Continuous Improvement
Perform market analysis to identify emerging sourcing opportunities, commodity trends, and cost drivers.
Assess supply chain risks and implement risk-mitigation plans, including supplier diversification.
Lead process improvement initiatives that streamline procurement, reduce total cost of ownership, and enhance supply chain resilience.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, finance, quality, and logistics teams to forecast requirements and support new product development.
Communicate sourcing strategies, supplier performance updates, and key risks to management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Understands and incorporates practices related to the aspects of safety and good housekeeping.
