The Signal Integrity Engineer will take part in the high-speed copper-based I/O cable assembly design team, and will be making significant engineering impact in state of the art datacenter, cloud, 5G, storage, enterprise I/O applications, with digital communication technologies and data-rates currently charted up-to 224Gbps/lane.

Responsibilities
The Signal Integrity Engineer will take part in the high-speed copper-based I/O cable assembly design team, and will be making significant engineering impact in state of the art datacenter, cloud, 5G, storage, enterprise I/O applications, with digital communication technologies and data-rates currently charted up-to 224Gbps/lane.
- Design, simulation, characterization, and application of high-speed electrical cable assembly
- Component development as well as customer support on new product introduction
- Share knowledge and pursue continuous improvement in methods and workflows
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in the development of next generation high speed I/O interconnect products
- Providing solutions to customers across a wide range of sectors with their high-speed data transmission requirements, identifying and resolving signal Integrity issues
- Support Sales and Applications Engineers to develop strategies for product break-in at existing and new accounts based on signal integrity and electrical engineering expertise
- Support global factories for ramping up production such as advising methods and experiments of builds, measurements, establishing test limits.
- BS in Electrical Engineering, MS is preferred
- Understanding of electro-magnetic principles for digital signal integrity
- Experience with signal integrity and electro-magnetic simulation/analysis tools such as Ansys HFSS and Designer, CST Microwave.
- Experience with signal integrity measurements and debugging with TDR, VNA, pattern generators, error detectors and similar measurement equipment. Hands-on experience with frequency-domain and time-domain component and circuit characterization including understanding of test and calibration methods
- Experience in component design and application of high-speed cables/connectors into communications equipment is a plus
- Experience with Matlab, ADS, and HSPICE is a plus
