Responsibilities
Collect design requirements in conjunction with Sales team.
- Work with customer to arrive at an approved socket or connector design.
- Provide technical support to Sales and Applications Engineering
- Generate detailed drawings for machine shops.
- Assist Production with troubleshooting assembly.
- Gather test data to support R&D activities.
- Select relevant seed design or start a design from scratch that satisfies the requirements.
- Support Production with fixture designs as needed.
- Identify process deficiencies and develop solutions to improve those deficiencies
- Minimum education requirement of Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in SolidWorks
- Ability to read, interpret, and create a variety of types of mechanical prints and drawings
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks
- Able to work independently
- Drive and passion to become a primary contributor to the company’s overall success
- 0-3 years of experience preferred
