This individual will develop Prototrak programs, design fixtures, set-up workpieces, and operate related machinery to perform a complex series of progressive machining operations to meet precise tolerance and finish requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Create Prototrak programs for a variety of machines, including milling machines and lathes.
- Operate manual machinery for milling, drilling, turning, and grinding of a variety of materials.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and related verbal instructions.
- Monitor machining processes and perform in-process and final inspection of finished parts.
- Maintain machinery and conduct minor repairs or adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Experience with precision machining equipment.
- Familiarity with machining a variety of materials such as aluminum, tool steel, stainless steel, copper, and other alloys.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of tolerances.
- Ability to read and interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-year Machine Tool degree or certificate preferred.
- Programming experience using Prototrak conversational controls.
- Experience using solid modeling tools (Creo, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
