The FSE will serve as the primary technical and commercial interface for key industrial OEMs, system integrators, and channel partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage strong relationships with engineering, sourcing, and program teams at major industrial OEM and end-user accounts.
- Drive design-in wins by supporting customer requirements for high-power, high-current, and rugged interconnect applications in industrial, automotive, transportation, and energy markets.
- Conduct on-site customer visits, product demonstrations, and application troubleshooting to position Amphenol as a trusted technical partner
- Work closely with internal engineering, product management, and operations teams to align customer requirements with Amphenol’s power solutions portfolio.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities across industrial segments; develop account strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Represent Amphenol in technical and commercial discussions, including pricing, product roadmaps, and application feasibility.
- Provide market insights—including competitive activity, emerging technologies, and customer trends—to guide product direction and sales strategy.
- Support distribution and channel partners to increase product pull-through in industrial markets.
- Proven experience in technical sales, field applications engineering, or business development in industrial power products, connectors, power distribution, energy storage, e-mobility, rugged electronics, or related hardware.
- Ability to lead technical conversations with engineers and translate application needs into recommended interconnect and power solutions.
- Industrial market familiarity (automation, energy, transportation, heavy equipment, factory infrastructure) strongly preferred.
- Strong relationship-building skills, customer-facing confidence, and a fast-paced, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field preferred.
