About the Role
Amphenol is seeking an experienced Global IT Manager, Infrastructure & Cybersecurity to support both Amphenol Alden Products and the broader Amphenol High Technology Industrial Group (AHTI). This role combines global IT leadership for Alden's operations in the United States, Mexico, China, and India with Group-level cybersecurity, infrastructure, and technology leadership across AHTI businesses. Approximately two-thirds of the role focuses on Alden's global operations, while one-third is dedicated to partnering with other AHTI companies to strengthen cybersecurity, align with Corporate IT standards, and share technology best practices. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technology leader with experience in manufacturing environments, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and enterprise systems who enjoys working across multiple businesses, cultures, and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
Global Alden Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT operations across Alden's global locations.
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Standardize and optimize IT systems, cybersecurity controls, and technology processes worldwide.
- Provide direct leadership and supervision of Alden's IT, ERP, and AI resources, fostering a high-performing team focused on operational excellence, innovation, and business partnership.
- Oversee infrastructure, networking, cloud services, Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, backup, disaster recovery, and end-user computing.
- Own the strategic direction, governance, and support of ERP systems, manufacturing technologies, and related business applications.
- Partner with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute AI initiatives that improve productivity, decision-making, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes.
- Drive the evaluation, implementation, and adoption of AI-enabled technologies and automation solutions across business functions.
- Lead technology modernization, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Manage external technology vendors, service providers, and strategic technology partners.
- Partner with business leaders to leverage technology to improve performance, scalability, and competitive advantage.
AHTI Group Responsibilities
- Partner with 11 IT leaders and technical teams across AHTI businesses to strengthen cybersecurity and infrastructure maturity.
- Support strategy alignment with Amphenol Corporate IT standards, policies, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Lead IT semi-annual internal risk assessments, and cybersecurity on-going vulnerability reviews, and technology risk evaluations.
- Share technology best practices and facilitate collaboration among AHTI IT teams.
- Support audits, compliance initiatives, and cybersecurity improvement programs.
- Assist with IT due diligence and integration activities for acquisitions.
- Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8 years of progressive IT experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Experience supporting global and multi-site operations.
- Strong background in cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems.
- Experience with AI-enabled productivity tools, workflow automation, governance, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience supporting ERP and manufacturing systems.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance requirements.
- Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Flexibility to engage with global teams to support business priorities across international locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- CISSP, CISM, Security , ITIL, PMP, ISO 27001, Microsoft, Azure, or similar certifications.
