A Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company is looking for the talents of a Regional Sales Representative. The Regional Sales Representative sells Company's products in their assigned territory to medical product users such as hospitals, clinics, medical associations, surgery centers, and other related businesses by performing the following duties. Commission based sales position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Travels throughout assigned territory to visit on a regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers in place of business.
  • Calls on assigned territory by contacting regular and prospective customers to solicit orders by phone.
  • Mails product information, using samples or catalog, to emphasizes salable features.
  • Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained. Communicates with Customer Service to arrange credit, shipments, and other customer needs.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
  • Performs market research on projects assigned by Head of Marketing.
  • Reports to the National Sales Supervisor for their territory.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Amphastar reports payments and other transfers of value to health care providers as required by federal and state transparency laws and implementing regulations. These laws and regulations require Amphastar to provide government agencies with information such as a health care provider’s name, address and the type of payments or other value received, generally for public disclosure. Subject to further legal review and statutory or regulatory clarification, which Amphastar intends to pursue, reimbursement of recruiting expenses for licensed physicians may constitute a reportable transfer of value under the federal transparency law commonly known as the Sunshine Act. Therefore, if you are a licensed physician who incurs recruiting expenses as a result of interviewing with Amphastar that we pay or reimburse, your name, address and the amount of payments made currently will be reported to the government.
