- Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects
- Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs
- Incorporate technology and resources to enhance learning
- TN certification for Special Education Teaching with Interventionist or Comprehensive Endorsement
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Special Education
- Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
