Hi, School Counselors! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Counselor for a contract, school-based position in Waynesville, NC. In this role, you'll support K-12 students by providing counseling services that promote academic achievement, social-emotional well-being, and career readiness. What You'll Do
Provide individual and group counseling to K–12 students
Support students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success
Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams
Participate in MTSS, IEP, and Section 504 meetings, as appropriate
Maintain accurate documentation and student records
What We're Looking For
North Carolina Professional Educator's License in School Counseling (or eligibility to obtain)
Master's Degree in School Counseling or related field
Strong communication and collaboration skills
School-based experience preferred, but not required
