What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Management Sales Consultant position at Ampersand Banking Solutions, Inc.?
SUMMARY:
Responsible for acquisition and growth of new deposit clients through prospecting, marketing, and cross-sales. Also responsible for retention and expansion of existing client deposit relationships.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

§ Manages the complete sales cycle from lead to close for specialty deposit clients, e.g. 1031 Exchanges, qualified settlement funds, escrow, family offices, commercial clients, municipalities etc.
§ Identifies sales opportunities and follows through to close. Understands prospective clients’ goals, environments, strategies, and industry trends to determine their requirements and recommends appropriate deposit management solutions.
§ Creates trust and value while building enduring relationships.
§ Offers support and guidance on specific client issues, onboarding, and relationship management/development.
§ Works directly with leadership team to develop consistent and specific sales strategies.
§ Represents the organization at conferences, industry events, etc. to promote brand recognition and establish/maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
§ Active involvement in outside boards, trade organizations, and with various centers of influence to increase Ampersand’s visibility in the financial services industry.
§ Fosters and maintains relationships with strategic partners, industry associations, and influencers to drive business development opportunities. Leverages these relationships to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and facilitate revenue growth.
§ Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
§ Proven track record of sustained new sales success.
§ Strong ability to influence and negotiate.
§ Proficient in Microsoft Office, including: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
§ Minimum: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
§ Preferred: Master’s degree in business or related field.
§ Ten (10) plus years of experience in specialty deposits, treasury management, or a related field within the financial services industry.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Traditional office environment with no unusual work conditions.
§ Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on computer.
§ Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers.
§ Up to one hundred percent (100%) travel to meet with prospects, customers, vendors, and intermediaries, trade shows, conferences, seminars.
